Lisa Rothfus is an LCSW and an experienced therapist who has worked with individuals, couples, and families for over 30 years. She earned her Master's degree in Social Work from Simmons School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts in 1989, where she interned at two different Harvard teaching hospitals.: Mclean Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital . She did post master's training in Structural Family Therapy at Cambridge Family Institute, and has work in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings over the course of her 30+ year career. In 2008 she created a program called KidKonnect in which she designed and implemented numerous parenting workshops and teacher trainings in the Austin area.
Currently she specializes in Parental Alienation, Reunification, and Reintegration therapy with families experiencing high conflict divorces. She works with family members through all stages of divorce and custody related issues. She has worked as a Guardian Ad Litem in Travis, Hayes, and Williamson counties, and is a trained mediator and Parent Facilitator/Coordinator. In addition she is a trained and credentialed Mental Health professional for Collaborative Divorce and serves on the Board of Austin Collaborative Divorce. She has attended numerous specialized trainings for Reunification therapy which include Amy Baker- Restoring Families Connection ,Linda Gottlieb LCSW & Dr. Steve Miller on Parental Alienation, and Alyson Jones, – Moving Families Forward Training out of Canada. Lisa holds a Masters degree in Social Work, Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Education with teaching certificates in Texas and Massachusetts. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas, license #20292.
Loretta has a broad range of experience in the counseling field, including working with individuals seeking to rebuild their lives after trauma, divorce, and loss. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of parental alienation and reunification and frequently provides expert testimony on the subject.
Loretta earned her Master's degree in counseling in 1995, with a specialization in child development/parent-education, and family therapy. Today, Loretta's passion is working with families in conflict, both in divorce prevention and divorce recovery.
As a therapist she is trained in a variety of therapeutic models including Structural Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and New Ways for Families counseling program for high-conflict families. In addition to providing therapy services, she is also a parenting facilitator, parenting coach, parent educator with over 25 years experience, past National Trainer with the Nurturing Parenting Program, Credentialed Family Law Mediator, and Collaborative Law Mental Health Professional. She also provides training and consultation to legal and clinical professionals working with high-conflict co-parents.
Sandra is a graduate of St. Edwards University with a Master's degree in counseling and is a licensed Professional Counselor starting her career with the Travis County Domestic Relations office. In addition to working as a therapist and parenting Facilitator, Sandra has worked as a Guardian ad Litem in the Austin/Round Rock area for the past 12 years.
Sandra has done specialized training in the area of Parental Alienation and treatment. In addition to years of personal research, study, and professional experience, Sandra has trained with well known specialists in the Parental Alienation field: Linda Gottlieb, LCSW, Dr. Amy Baker, Dr. Steven Miller.
